On Sunday, October 25, 2026, at 11:30 AM, we will come together to raise awareness for two critical causes: Domestic Violence Awareness and Breast Cancer Awareness. We invite our friends and family to join us as we stand in support of survivors, honor those whose lives have been impacted, and help bring greater awareness to these important issues. Everyone is encouraged to wear pink for Breast Cancer Awareness, purple for Domestic Violence Awareness, or a combination of both colors and/or awareness paraphernalia as we unite in support, strength, and hope.

SAVE THE DATE: The “Embrace Her” Women’s Conference 2026, themed “Boldly Destined: Embracing the Woman God Created You to Be,” will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM at 240 Chatham Heights Road, Fredericksburg, VA 22405. Registration is open from August 1 to October 24; the cost is $30. Pay via Zelle (ID: embraceherwomens – Oak Grove Baptist Church) or by check payable to Embrace Her Women’s Ministry, mailed to 414 Decatur Rd, Stafford, VA 22554. Living Water AME Church will participate in The Palooza Project. We are looking for volunteers to help prepare Thanksgiving food bags for local families in need. Whether you can spare an hour or the entire day, your support is vital to making this outreach a success. We will meet on November 14 @ James Monroe High School, 2300 Washington Avenue, Fredericksburg, VA, 9AM - 12 Noon.
